After being duped out of her life by her ex, Lizzie Lee is broke, divorced, and unemployed. She has nowhere to go until her mom tells her she bought a rundown old cottage in Bleak Lake.
Lizzie has never heard of Bleak Lake but decides she has no choice but to help her mom fix up the cottage and start a B&B. After renovations, they open the doors to their first guests, except Lizzie wasn’t expecting a dead body. Finding the deceased in the cottage, nearly ruins the business before it’s even started. Lizzie’s only option is to solve the crime as quickly as possible.
